Colleen Potter is Director of Operations for Modern Miracle Network, a not-for-profit representing citizens who want to have an adult conversation about energy choices.
Ms. Potter is a consultant and leader of community-building initiatives with over a decade of project management experience in non-profit, corporate, and political environments. Born and raised in Calgary, she started her career in provincial politics before working in oil and gas, including Learning and Development at Shell Canada. In 2008 she moved to Vancouver to work on the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Since 2010 Ms. Potter has worked for several non-profits, helping build their capacity for community outreach and engagement, and was Director of Community Relations for a Member of Parliament in 2015. She is also a classically trained singer, and a member of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus.
She believes that Canada's resource sector provides opportunities for Canadians from all walks of life.
